City Makes Sand & Bags Available for Residents

With rain in the forecast over the next several days, the City of West Sacramento is ready to assist residents in staying safe and prepared.

Sand and Bags Available:

Residents can pick up sand and bags at 2895 Industrial Blvd, near the entrance to the Port of West Sacramento. Bags are available at the guard shack, but residents should bring their own shovels.

Storm Response & Safety Monitoring:

  • The West Sacramento Emergency Operations Division is actively monitoring river levels and conducting levee patrols.
  • City Public Works crews are on standby to respond to storm-related issues.
